Desert and island UV is a slow failure mode. A membrane that looks correct in year one can become a replacement line item in year eight.

FRAMES: STEEL PIPE VS SOLID WOOD
Tethys, Villa, Octagon and Shell use a steel pipe frame. Pisces combines solid wood with steel pipe and is rated to the same 120 km/h and 80 kg/m² thresholds — a different structural and aesthetic route, at the shorter service life.

WHAT THE SITE ACTUALLY TESTS
Specified projects using this platform include a 19-tent mountain resort in Nepal, where high wind resistance and thermal insulation were the stated priorities, and a 30-tent desert resort in Saudi Arabia, specified with custom desert design, thermal insulation and panoramic views.
